Brochure sites for neighborhoods and communities have got to go. Case in point, Belltown.org
Sure, it was created in an 'innovative' vision but that vision has quickly faded. It's simply not useful to have a mostly static site spinning around with no dialogue and very little useful information beyond business listings.
Blogs are probably just a new form of brochure sites but at least they have a spirt of update and live broadcast. So, quit wasting money hosting a dead site like belltown.org and start putting it to work on a site that the community will actually utilize and participate in.
