Seattle PI reports that, despite the risk/fear/uncertainty/boogey-man/change-sucks of it all, the Monorail today inches toward reality. Those kooky folks at Cascade Monorail Co. have agreed on a price to build part of this sucker. Unfortunately for people like me who would prefer living under a benevolent dictator (like me), this deal is still subject to public hearings and the political process before final approval so I'm sure we'll try to turn it into a tunnel or something next. But for now, enjoy the feel of progress. (And don't read this news --Vegas Monorail ridership too low to meet expenses, officials say -- from Vegas :) )
BTW, who will start the first pro and anti Monorail blogs that are worth reading every day?
